How to Remove Fantasy Sales Team CRM Users?

Hi all,

How can I remove all the CRM imported users from the commissioners portal in FST?

I want to basically start again, so remove all users and reimport them again, the reason being that I've reassigned pro licences to those who need them in order to play FST.

Previously I'd imported users whilst testing FST on the Sandbox, now it's in production I would like to make the above changes.

I've tried making players inactive, then removing them, but they all still appear in the Dynamics CRM Users list, some of them are still players even though they no longer have Pro licences! Finally, I've tried selecting refresh data, reset jobs and send users in FST settings in CRM, but this doesn't appear to have done anything.

Any suggestions welcome.

    Hi Michael,

    While we could manually revert all of your users, we’re currently investigating why FST is not receiving license upgrade confirmations from Office 365.  Meaning that even if we do this, it’s likely your Basic Users will still not be importable as Players.  So the easier solution would be to uninstall FST from Dynamics and then reinstall, creating a brand new account.  We’ll first need to delete your old one, so if you can respond with your org details, we can proceed with that and confirm with you when you can start over.

    Michael, to build on Tina's response, when users are initially populated into the CRM Users List, we check their license type, and allow you to make the Pro/Enterprise licensed users Players.  We've had reports from a few customers that once they upgraded users from Basic/Essential to Pro/Enterprise, the Player option did not automatically appear on this page.  We're investigating that now, but until it's solved, Tina is correct that given your situation, it's probably easier to just hit the "reset" button and start over, now that users have the correct licenses.  If this arises in the future, we can always manually change the license type on the back end of a particular user.  And hopefully we'll resolve the license sync issue with O365 shortly.  We appreciate your patience and if you respond to Tina with your FST Org info, we can get it removed (so all users will be deleted) and then you'll be able to create a new org by importing them again.  License types should be correct upon initial import.

    Hi Tina, recently we've experienced several problems with CRM, it seems as though the timing of which coincides with when I installed and then uninstalled FST. Those problems (all in the opportunity entity) include Auditing being disabled, Business rules being turned off, cascade settings being changed for Notes amongst other things. Could this have anything to do with the FST solution? I'm hesitant to reinstall until i find the cause of these incidents. I've contacted Microsoft Support, and they suggest speaking to FST directly.

    Michael, the only setting for the Opportunity Entity (or any entity for that matter) that FST deals with is turning Change Tracking on.  None of the above should be affected ... in fact, I've never heard of several of them.  So I can say confidently this is a coincidence and not specific to / because of installing FST.  That being said, if you feel strongly otherwise, I'd be happy to get one of our developers on the line to speak with you and work through it.

    After re-installing the FST solution again, I can now confirm that it did turn off our auditing function on the opportunity entity, it also deactivated a form on the opportunity entity.

    Tina, I've requested a new registration code, please can we get sent one. I assume the system hasn't sent another as it sees us as a duplicate having already been registered once, then deleted.
