Avoid update modifiedDateTime

Hi all

I have a batch process that update a field on InventTrans and every time batch is executed modifiedDateTime fields is updated, is there any way to avoid to system update this field?

I don't think that it's possible, why do you need this ?

Because why use this field and modifyby to audit who modified the records and my batch process is updating this fields every time

Database log is a better solution for audit, because it tracks history of all changes, not only last one.
