Hi everyone,
We’re currently facing an issue in Business Central where we're unable to send emails using an account (remittance@labdomain.com) that belongs to a different Microsoft 365 tenant than our main BC environment (corpdomain.com).
Although the permissions (Send As / Send on Behalf) are properly configured and the emails work fine through Outlook, BC throws an error stating:
"The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account."
We’ve tried:
1. Using both Microsoft 365 and SMTP setup
2. Creating the account as a guest user in the corp tenant.
3. Confirming that delegation permissions are in place.
But the issue persists only in BC.
Has anyone in the community experienced a similar problem? Were you able to find a workaround or solution that allowed cross-tenant email sending from BC?
Appreciate any suggestions or insights!
