This seems to be related to the 'traditional' financial statements.
Why don't you use the management reporter?

I have checked our support records and we haven't received any request with such an error message. You can use Management Reporter as suggested by Ludwig. Or you can debug the error message to find a root cause. Also you can report it to our Microsoft Support and we will assist you with it.
