the serial no. information does not exist.

Hi!

I'm consistently getting this error:

The Serial No. Information does not exist. Identification fields and values...

The thing is, the message itself shows the serial Number that was typed in... please see attached.

Anyone has a hint about what am I missing here?

    Hi,

    Check whether "SN Info Must Exist" field is active in Item Tracking Code assigned to item.

    Then either you need to add the Information for Serial No. on Item Tracking Lines Navigate tab or uncheck in Item Tracking code card.

    Thank you for your answer Paras,

    The serial number was added, it even shows on the error message. That's what I don't understand. Why does it report a missing serial number and on the message that reports the missing serial number shows the serial number added...

    Are You creating Purchase order? or sales order?

    Go to item card> Item tracking > Item tracking code> Click on advance then Edit> In Inbound and outbound in both groups there is SN no. info must exist. Please unmark this Boolean and then try.
