Currency Translation Window - glBuildMulticurrencyTranslationTemp Error

In the fresh Sample Company TWO for GP 2013 R2, I setup Translation for Z-C$ and closed the year 2014. Then when I open the Currency Translation window for next year 2015, I get following errors.


The stored procedure glBuildMulticurrencyTranslationTemp returned the following results: DBMS: 2627, Microsoft Dynamics GP: 0

How can we fix this?

    Hi Max!

    The error your getting above is almost always related to a quality issue in GP. I recommend opening up a support case with Microsoft and they can give you scripts which should resolve the issue. If you using AA it gets a little more complicated though.

    As a quick rundown, when the SEQNUMBR field was added to the GL tables the field did not get updated correctly for certain types of transactions (mainly BBF's are the cause). Since SEQNUMBR is a part of the key for the currency translation process you get the error above.
