Hi,

Trying to expose a web service.

I have followed this guide. I went to web service in NAV client and added page 21 customer card, published it.

In the NAV admin server i have enabled OData Services and SOAP Services and Management Services.

When i try open http://navhost1.nav.local:8547/DynamicsNAV90_Clio/WS/CRONUS%20Danmark%20A%2FS/Page/CustomerCard

I get 400 Bad Request.

The only customerzation i have done on this customer is increasing name, search name, address length from 50 to 150.

    hello,

    instead of navhost1.nav.local/.../WS

    type

    localhost:8547/DynamicsNAV90_Clio/WS

this won't ask password, if its local system.

But first check iis is installed or not in your PC

type localhost in browser and if you not get iis image then install iis.

Also check with different browsers, and make privacy/Security level Low for testing.

    See for more info

Could be dns issue. Try localhost:port or system_ip:port.

In my organization i too face same issue but by using ip address it works.

Also make sure user accessing the url have access in database, as database user and no restriction applies to work with that page.

When entering localhost:8547/DynamicsNAV90_Clio/WS i get "this page can't be displayed'.

So like this, just with my own ip adress? http://1.1.1.1:8547/   or  1.1.1.1/.../WS I have tried that and i get same resault as i do with the localhost.

Its not because my port number is to high a number?

Use the ip or computer name of the system on which the Service is running. The system which is having your computer name.

    something like this :indel-axt5283nb.tecturacorp.net/.../Company('CRONUS%20International%20Ltd.')/powerbifinance

replace [indel-axt5283nb.tecturacorp.net] with the ip address of this computer.

    http://<Server>:<Port>/<ServerInstance>/WS/<CompanyName>/services

    10.104.101.114/.../powerbifinance

    or

    10.104.101.114/.../services

    Hope this should help

replace your information on above url.
