Hi all, might be a silly question but I'm having a problem with the 'note' functionality on BC. Doesn't matter what kind of document it is (the example provided in the attached image will be from a purchase order) be it sales or purchasing etc. Every time I try to leave a note I get the same error stating 'Note must be filled in. Enter a value', no matter what value I have entered. If anyone is able to provide some guidance as to whether i have something configured incorrectly etc it would be greatly appreciated.
It was actually the 'Grammarly' browser add-on that was causing the problem for us. Once i disabled the add-on the field functioned as intended. It seems this issue can be caused with a variety of browser add-ons, good to know we've all gotten to the bottom of it!

if you tried with other devices and same issue for the same user then it could be two options:
1) Permission as you point out. This is more likely situation. Can you try to remove all permission from the user. Then assign higher permission and test. If it works then it means it is permission issue.
2) User personalization. Which is less likely. Go to User Settings , select the user then Manage and then Clear Personalized Pages. Then try.

By accident I just found out what the cause of the problem is...
We removed the add-blocker -> & after this action the problem was directly solved!

He have tried adding a note by using a different device.. unfortunately this still isn't the solution...
In the previous comment, someone was mentioning the permission.. but I doubt that this could be the reason because of the error..
There are a lot of person within the database, who have less permission & are finding no difficulty by using the notes.

Do you know version of browsers on that user computer? If that user use another pc does see the same error? If all works fine for that user on other devices then it could be browser version or OS version issue

I just received a message from a customer of ours.. one person within the specific organization is experiencing this problem... Ive tried every single browser.. but none of them seem to be the solution...
Co-workers and also myself work with Chrome and do not experience any problem..
What could be the cause?

thanks a lot for these results. I just tested with Firefox and it works as expected (same with google chrome).
Do you use the latest version?
I cannot find any issue here.
Thanks for your assistance Franziska. It appears to be a bug only whilst using the firefox browser, Microsoft edge is working without a problem.
