Report on 2013 Federal Wages

(0) ShareShare

By going into Employee Summary, I can see each employee's individual Federal Wages. Can i get all employees from 2013 in a report somehow through GP?

I'm able to run other reports that tell me Gross Wages, but HR is requesting only Federal. I've dug through the reports without finding anything that will. Is this a SmartList I will have to build? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks!

    Hi Joshua,

If you have a moment, could you take a look at my new posting that is somewhat related to this request? It would be much appreciated! Thanks!

The following script in SQL will get you what your looking for. You could also just sum the FEDWAGE results and remove EMPLYID from it to get a total sum for the year. In the script you would change YEAR1 as needed.

    select EMPLOYID,

    (Federal_Wages_1+Federal_Wages_2+Federal_Wages_3+Federal_Wages_4+Federal_Wages_5+Federal_Wages_6+

    Federal_Wages_7+Federal_Wages_8+Federal_Wages_9+Federal_Wages_10+Federal_Wages_11+Federal_Wages_12) as FEDWAGE

    from UPR00900 where YEAR1='2014'

If you want a script that's a little more granular you could instead sum the FDWGPYRN column of the UPR30100 table and group by EMPLOYID, and restrict on CHECKDATE using a between.

select EMPLOYID, sum(FDWGPYRN)as FEDWAGE from UPR30100

where CHEKDATE between '2014-01-01' and '2014-12-31'

    group by EMPLOYID

A real quick pull of the data can inside of GP also be done with the period end reports. This will get you the full amount but will not be broken down by employee.

    1) Go to Reports>Payroll>Period End.

    2) Enter the date from and date To that you would like (1/1/2014-12/31/14 for example to pull the entire open year).

    3) Select the Payroll Summary report.

    4) Click Process.

If you just need to see the total Year to date for all employees in one lump sum without a report you can also use the Company Payroll Summary Window(Inquiry>Payroll>Company Payroll Summary).

if you have any other questions please feel free to let me know!

    Joshua
