Hi all,
I have created a view in the new customer account form. It's allowing me to save the customer without validating the required fields entered. Any thoughts on that?
I require a phone and email address when the customer account is created.
Thank you, André and Mohit, for your collaboration.
To clarify, I tested with different field in Customer, so Andre's answer on testing with same fields is more valid.
Hi Magno,
In my environment, also where the feature is enabled, it is not working for the contact information on the customer creation dialog.
The reason is that these contact fields are technically three datasources with the electronic addresses table where no field is touched if you don't fill a value. For that reason, the records are not being validated or saved.
You can consider a customization for an additional validation when closing the form or have a look at the Data Governance ISV solutions from my company where this requirement is configurable.
I was able to replicate this issue and after enabling that feature, it started throwing error as expected.
Not sure, what is missing in your case.
I have that feature enabled.
It didn't work, Mohit.
Hi Magno, Please enable this Feature '(Preview) Ensure required unbound controls are filled in' from Feature management and it should start working.
