We have an issue using ShipRush with our POS (RMS 2.0+) solution.
If ShipRush is to use RMS' static shipping table for costs and not UPS' servers, the generated tracking number does not populate into both the Pending Shipment log and the Shipped log.
HOWEVER... if ShipRush is to use it's estimated shipping cost, the tracking number gets populated, and can be found in both logs with no issue.
We use NitroSell for ecommerce. Even though both NitroSell and ShipRush talk to UPS' servers for an estimated cost for shipping, they've never been the same in our experience. That is the sole reason that we use RMS' shipping tables.
This has been the case since we went live with both NitroSell and ShipRush in the fall of '06. X amount of versions later with both solutions, and it's still a limitation/bug that, according to Zfirm (ShipRush), rests on the shoulders of RMS.
Anyone know of any other shipping solutions that integrates with RMS? I've looked in the past, and the only one people know of is ShipRush. I'm hoping that's since changed.
You may want to look at a shipping software product called ShipRush which can be found at: http://www.shiprush.com/products/shiprush.shtml. This product integrates directly with RMS. We know of many Hardware, Home Improvement, and Building Material Stores that integrate their shipping requirements and Point of Sale with Microsoft RMS and ShipRush.
