Planned Transfer order delivery date

Hello everyone

We are currently testing our master planning and we found the following issue:

  • I have a warehouse configured with a minimum stock of 1.000 units.
  • Warehouse is configured to be refilled automatically from main warehouse
  • Vendor lead times are 60 days (not configured in the system)
  • Current date: 12/02/2020
  • Current Stock is 0

So when we run the master planning the planned orders are the following:

  • 1 planned purchase order with delivery date of 12/02/2020
  • 1 planned transfer order with delivery date of 12/02/2020

So Could you please help me in understanding how to set up the vendor lead times and how to configure the master planning so the delivery dates for the planned orders consider the vendor lead times in the delivery dates?

Thank you!

    Hi Fernando,

Set up the lead time in default order setting or item coverage. Or create trade agreement for the specific vendor and item, refer to this Doc for more information: docs.microsoft.com/.../about-planned-purchase-order-lead-times

For master plans, please check parameters in the calculated delays tab

I have found that master planning is using the requirement date of a planned transfer order for the order date and the delivery date and nor transport time nor transfer time (on coverage settings) are being taken into account. Therefore, production orders created to cover the transfer requirements are being created on the delivery date and not on order date. aces etm
