Hi
Our GP 2010 is installed on a central server and each user has access it. We would like to use the "send document in E-mail function", however we would like GP to use the individual users Outlook account to send the email. (so it can be tracked, forwarded etc by the user)
We have been told that because GP is installed on a server, that the email function would only work with an Outlook account that is installed on the server.
Any solutions around this?
Thanks Brian

No you cannot have GP on one server and using Outlook on another server. GP is going to look at the current machine when it makes the call to Outlook. This is part of the reason we created Web Client so users can access GP on their local machine and use Word, Excel, Outlook.
Hi Jonathan,
If we created new profiles on the Terminal server, would we be able to link them to our current profiles? (GP and our current Outlook sit on different servers)
That is correct. You would have to have a Outlook profile setup for each user when they do the RDP session into the Terminal Server.
