Version Mismatch

I installed Microsoft RMS Store Operations V1.3 on to a new computer in our office. I'm able to connect the Administrator to the database but when I attempt to open Manager I get the following error message: "Version Mismatch: The current database is of version 2.04, while this application requires version 1.20. Please run Store Operations - Administrator to correct this problem." I opened Administrator and went to "update" but it's already updated.  The previous IT manager at my job set up the database and installed RMS on all computers so I don't know much about it. I do know that the rest of the computers in the office show that they run version 2.0.0155 of Manager. This is my first RMS install. As I'm fairly new to RMS, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there.

You are using the old CD, version 1.3. Try to find the version2.0 CDor try to download it from the web: www.microsoft.com/.../rms-overview.aspx   It's for free.

IMPORTANT: You will need the same Service / Feature Pack as on the other machines...

    Kind regards, A.

Thanks for all your help! How do I find out what Service/Feature Pack the other machines have?

Yes, no problem, just check this next link: mbs.microsoft.com/.../20sphf-v2.htm    From the same page, You can donwload all the Service Pack's and feature packs. What I would recommend, the best You can do is to contact your partner....

I beleive you have RMS v2.0 Service Pack 4

Also, I would recommend you to check the blogs on this site, Gregg Kosel is doing a great job explaining the updates, hotfixes, etc: community.dynamics.com/.../default.aspx

    Hope this helps, regards, A.
