what is the use of Application Suite, Application Platform and Application Foundation in D3FO

Dear All

I saw under Models (Application Suite, Application Platform and Application Foundation) check box is there.  Can you please let me know what is the use of each ?

Which i need to select ?

Is there any specific criteria to select each.

Please give me more shed on this.

    These are core .

    If you want to use CustTable or VendTable..Etc

    then you must tick these.

    If want more reference.

    Type CustTable in Search and check the package in which CustTable Resides.

    CustTable[Application Suite].

    so,if we tick the Application Suite at the time of creating package we can use in our Package.

    Dear All,

    I go through below link

    but still little bit confusion.

    Model : Application Platform

    As i understand if i worked with Objects Form, Batch Jobs, AIF etc then Model Application Platform should be select.

    Model : Application Foundation

    If i worked with Number Sequence , GAB, SSRS Report, WorkFlow, DIXF, Security Roles etc then Model Application Foundation should be select.

    Model : Application Suite

    If i worked with SCM then Model Application Suite should be select.

    Can you please verify is't correct ?

    Please give me more shed on this.

    Thanks Sukrut,

    As these all are Core Packages means we should select theses 3 Packages, whenever we doing any customization with any objects like Table, Form, EDT,BaseEnum, SSRS Reprt,WorkFlow etc.

    Please give me more shed on this.
