Depending on the workflow, I would first see if the user could move (and rename) the file to an archive folder after uploading and before generating the next file.

Of course I don't know the workflow or how/when the files are generated/uploaded.

Alternatively, users could move (and rename) the files to a "ready to upload" folder if they are generating several before uploading to the bank.

Not very pretty solutions, but both should allow you to generate multiple files without overwriting.

    Hello,

In the Safepay Upload Maintenance window, you will enter a specified path and filename and the file will just keep overwriting to that path/filename each time you generate it.  So if you need to have an incrementing number after it, the user will have to go to that path and right-click on the file and rename it to add the -001, -002, etc as needed.   You can generate the file as many times as you need to per day, however, it's going to overwrite the file you generated previously, since it always uses the same filename each time.   So if you generate more than one per day, the user will need to go and manually rename the file each time, in order to retain a copy of it before it is overwritten, if you will be generating the safepay file more than once per day.  There is no auto-incrementing function for Safepay.  It just keeps overwriting the same file each time you generate it.

Please let me know if any questions.   Please mark as answer if this answers your question, for the benefit of other readers.   Thank you in advance.

    Hope that helps,
