Changes with enabling "Advanced Distribution" module

The company I work for is wanting to enable the "Advanced Distribution" module on our Dynamics GP 2018 18.4.1384 installation.

The sole reason is to activate and use the "Transactions >> Sales >> Transfer Multiple Orders" feature.

We use SOP orders (SOPTYPE = 2) and we have absolutely no intention to use fulfillment orders (SOPTYPE = 6) or change our current process except for how we invoice our SOP orders.

Few questions:

How do we know if we have that module licensed?
1. Will Dynamics GP throw an error and stop if we try to enable a module that our GP license doesn't include?
By enabling the "Advanced Distribution" module, will anything in GP change that may interrupt day-to-day operations and processes?
1. Such as:
  1. General Ledger (GL)
  2. Customer Information (RM)
  3. Inventory (IV)
  4. Purchase Orders (POP)
  5. Sales Orders (SOP)
2. In other words, is it safe to enable the module and assume GP will continue to function as it does now?
