Hey Estysalinas and meenxip did you resolve this issue? I have the same - some users unable to see documents from CRM - but able to view and upload via sharepoint direct. All users in AD Group.
Hello,
As far as I remember, something related to view threshold limit, The document grid was not showing the documents when the number of items/documents in the related SharePoint library was greater than 5000.
I don't remember minute details now, but the below link gave us some hint
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn792527.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
"If you have more than 5000 documents in your document library, you can view the documents in the default grid view. However, if you sort on columns other than the default sorted column, you might see an error indicating that the throttling limit has been exceeded."
and we changed the way we show our grid and store in SharePoint Library.
I hope this helps! For us also it was very bugging and time consuming issue :(
Have you found a resolution to this? I am having the same issue on my end, same configuration - CRM 2016 (8.1) and SP 2016 On Prem.
Dynamics CRM 2016 On Premise, SharePoint 2016 On Premise
Hi, What versions of crm and sharepoint you are using?
I"m getting the same error, users can log into the sharepoint site and see the files, however from new "server side integration" they can't see any of the documents. Did you ever get a resolution???
There is no difference in the users permissions, even the system customizer don't see the documents. In between we tried to enable the ADFS in Dynamics CRM. The documents probably not showing after that. But cant be sure what is the reason.
Any permissions differences in CRM that could explain the difference between the users? Also, did you check in the browsers console to see if you get any errors?
Yes. I did make sure that the users have necessary permission on SharePoint site and another strange thing is If I access document library directly from SharePoint in browser then documents are being shown successfully.
Do the other users have permissions on that SharePoint location? If they don't they will not get an error but simply see no documents.
