"Cannot display page" error when downloading to excel from MR

Good afternoon,

We just updated to Management Reporter CU10.

Now after creating a report in MR and generating it in Internet Explorer 11, we try to download it into Excel 2010.

A new IE tab opens and we receive an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error: The website cannot display the page.

Can anyone please assist us with what we may have missed during the install of CU10?

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

    I think its related to webconfig file please Delete the malformed XML element from the ApplicationHost.config file or from the Web.config file.

    Please refer the Microsoft KB as per below.

    support.microsoft.com/.../942055
