Physical Inv Cycle count period date and frequency settings

Hi All

I'm trying understand the logic behind defining cycle count frequency and start date settings in BC. When I set up two items as 2 times and 12 times per year and run calculate inv periods I get start date as below. Is there a way to set the start date to for example beginning of next month or any use specified date for the first count as we now in middle of Feb? Second if find only count per year and just confirm that this is the only option for if weekly we have to use 52 (and any issues with leap year?)

After reading some of the posts and checking settings my conclusion is there's no advanced date settings in this area, so if I start cycle counting settup in mid month for example no setting to set the first count as next month or every Friday etc
