Address ID's missing after GL close

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I was able successfully close our GL last night. However after the close it appears that all our Address ID's (Purchasing, Sales, HR & Payroll) are missing. Has anyone had this happen before and if so how do I restore these Address ID's?

Understood. I guess I was just hoping there was Master table that housed all of these ID's. I will get to work on restoring these in each module. Thank you all for your help.

    Hi,

I'm with Richard, it doesn't make any sense for the close to have caused this. If you can't restore everything, you could just restore the addresses. The are in the following tables in the company database:

     Vendors: PM00300

     Customers: RM00102

     Payroll: UPR00102

     Company Locations: SY00600

Which other addresses do you need?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

I completely agree this makes no sense at all. Nothing out of the ordinary aside from Mekorma, Regal Pay, Greenshades. I'm working on a restore to our DEV environment now. What table are the Address ID's stored in. I checked SY06000 but that looks like all addresses for all customers and vendors.

That makes absolutely no sense. Do you have third-party products or custom triggers that would have caused this?  Is it too late to restore from backup? If it is, you can restore to another database and then restore those IDs using SQL.
