    What worked for me is disabling CRL verification.

    Up to that, the general performance was ok during app operation. It was just that launching screens took some seconds. I applied a CRL disabling tweak and the launching lag disappeared. Check https://community.dynamics.com/sl/f/35/t/111559, but I guess this is done differently depending in your OS.

    In my case it was the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config tweak.

    Please consider the security issues involved.

    Hi Eric,

    We are also interested in looking at this tweak. However the link you have inserted does not work. The message returned is  'Unfortunately, the page you've requested no longer exists'. So maybe it has been removed.

    Are you able to provide more details?

    Sorry for the delay.

    The basic thing is edit the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config  file and add the following:

      <runtime>
         <generatePublisherEvidence enabled="false"/>
      </runtime>

    So that exists the /configuration/runtime/generatePublisherEvidence.

    This config prevents the .NET engine from doing a network query for possible certificate revocations every time a screen is launched.
