Configuring CRM based on architecture

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear all,

I have a customer request who ask for my service by founding for him a  "recommended CRM architecture for a high performance solution".

What does that exactly actually ?

I have some quite experience in customizing CRm online as I have done it for my company.

But what is hidden behind those word customer is asking ?

Thanks for advise

regards

    Hi Sergec,

I agree with David and Aiden. Nevertheless we all know that there are customers expecting us to be mind readers or having no idea themselves.

I would focus on the differentiation between Operation (Processing), Analytics, Communication and Collaboration in the first instance. It leads to a different data modell and choice of functions later on. By this you maybe are able to get this one step forward you need currently.

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards

    Hi,

I have a guess - they want to have a highly responsive system so you'll need to factor in how to store and represent the data so that it's quick to create and retrieve. There There are ways to do this that may not be the prettiest from a data normalization perspective that would make sense to get better performance.

Ultimately I agree with David. If you don't know what the customer means at this early a stage, get clarification. You don't want to guess or make up an answer and get the project off on the wrong start.

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

     Aiden

I think you'll have to ask the customer what they mean by that. Anything else is solely guesswork
