If I select /Alternate Ship To Address/ and select the address from the /Ship to Addresses List/ that should be set. Unfortunately. if I run a rate quote for shipping it will change the setting to Custom. This is a problem as it will not find the related address and collect account number in Dynamic ship. If it does not find the account number, it defaults to prepaid and billed which is incorrect. The software seems to want to run the ship to address as Custom. Is this a default.... why?
Seems like You are using some kind of an add-on or integration with Business Central system, that updates the address, and to avoid errors, if such shipping address is not added to customer, it always creates the Shipping address as Custom Address.
You would need to address this question to the Vendor of the add-on, or if it was a modification by Your partner, then ask them.
