This user has been given the Indirect permission for the selected object, but the object is not included in their license.

It appears Business Central 2022 Release Wave 1 (BC20) has created new tables for "Posted Bank Deposit". The new functionality has created a license conflict and users are no longer able to post bank transactions. Looking for suggestions to resolve. Thanks.

Thanks, I have done just that.

Thank you for the suggestions.  I have tried giving this user Super permission and the problem persists.

The necessary permissions have been given. Somehow the object the permissions have been given for is not included in the license.

The objects is question have come as part of BC20 Release Wave 1, specifically "Posted Bank Deposit" objects.

Hi, First rule out the problem of the license, you can try to give this user Super permission to see if there is still a problem.

    More detials: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/deployment/licensing

If there are no problems, you can use the Record Permissions feautre to see what permissions are missing in this step.

    Hope this also helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi

Please report this to your partner and ask them to report to Microsoft. it looks like a bug.

Thank you for the suggestion. I agree this should not be an issue. I created a permission set explicitly for "Bank Deposit" related objects but to no avail. I still have the user license conflict.

    Hi

If user is a licensed user (except team license) that should not be an issue. Create a new Permission Set for Bank Deposit and add it to user permission.

Side note: bank deposit has a few bugs that I know Microsoft released or will release hot fix for it. For example you cannot delete unposted bank deposit. it is a chance this is a bug as well. Ask your partner to check with Microsoft.

    Thanks
