Release items from sales order not happening

Hello,

I imported the entity using 'copy data from entities'.

And trying to do a dispatch order, when i try to release the items of a sales order, i get a message, 'All sales lines have already been released to the warehouse for sales order'.

is this got anything to do with copying data from entities or any setup issue?

    Hi,

    You also get this message if the Item or Warehouse on the line(s) are not enabled for Warehouse management processes. Please check the setup of your Warehouse and Storage Dimension Group.

    Also check what is the release status on the sales order header. Is it released?

    Check if there is work also created while importing.

    Hi Guy Terry,

    the storage dimension is enabled for warehouse management process. and the same storage dimension group is linked to item.

    Sorry, I missed something there. The message does not necessarily mean you have work created, but that the full quantity on the Sales order lines is already on Shipment/Load lines. Can you check in the table WHSLoadLines if there are already lines for your Sales order (check the OrderNum field)?

    What happens if you manually create a new sales order, add the items to it, reserve the inventory and do the Release to Warehouse?

    Hello, 

    TMSInventTableEnable table was not updated with itemid. After updating this table I'm able to release the SO.
