Hello Folks,

Greetings of the day!

 

Need your help today.

I have a requirement from a client as below:

 

Requirement:

1)When a user opens a D365 commerce HQ,

a) He should have his own personalized view page.

b) In his personalized view page, he should not be able to use the functionality of Insert column (Grid)

 

As per my research, I could not find any standard feature to fulfill this requirement.

 

I have attached a Png file to make you understand my requirement clearer.

 

My query is Can we fulfill this requirement, or do we have to do customization?

    Hi Ashish,

    In simple terms, you need to do some customization and make some code changes to implement it. You can contact your development colleagues to complete it together.

    Hi Ashish,

    This feature is in New Grid controls, nevertheless, you can go to System administration > Workspaces > feature management, there is no 'insert column' option to insert fields on the grid. You can compare the differences between grids controls. Then evaluate whether it can be customized.
