Instruction how to add a supplier on an item?

I like to know if it is possible to add a second supplier on an article or item.

If so if anyone has an instruction how to do it and hopefully in an effective ways as we need to add a second supplier on a lot of articles.

Anyone knows where I could find this kind of instruction?

Hi,

What area are you referring too? MRP generated planned orders? you could use the Trade agreement search function (essentially finding the cheapest Vendor to order from).

Master planning > Setup > Master planning parameters > Planned orders

If you mean approved vendors you can setup as many as you like from the item master click Purchase > Approve supplier setup button.

You can setup Trade agreements and External item descriptions to have an additional link.
