SQL View Not Refreshing Properly

I have created a SQL view accessing GP data via Excel and having problems with refreshing. Several users use the view and some may have to refresh up to 10 times before the data actually updates. The Excel is set to auto refresh when the file is opened. Any ideas of why?

I have never had much luck with that. It has never really seemed "polished" to me. I use an addin call SQLDrill (http://www.sqldrill.com/). It is free.

Ron,

We are running Office 2007 with an ODBC connection between the SQL View and Excel.

What version of Excel are you running? What method are you using to execute the view in Excel?
