Permissions payment terms

Is there a possibility to lock payment terms for changing in de sales order by role? I can only find to lock changing payment terms in general in the permission sets. It's not desired that a seller change the payment terms by themselve in the sales order.

As far as I know, this requires customization. Because BC does not support field-level permissions.

PS: In BC23, you can use the following method to customize profile.
