Hi All,

I have one scenario where i am looking for a particular group of users when send/reply to email from CRM it should be displayed as "Company Name" in From of email. I was planning to use Queues and add users as members to the queue.

Please guide the best solution for this.

Any suggestion is really appreciated.

Thanks!!!

    Hi,

I think you should change your "from" field with code (javascrpt or plugin) for this common email account.

You can use teams a give a common email id to all the members of the team

    Hi,

I'm guessing in the ideal situation you would send an email from the company address, and you would have "reply-to" header added to the email (and you would set it to the use 's email address).

You can do the first part (by having a plugin that would replace "From" in the outgoing emails, for example). But I don't think you can set "reply-to" in Dynamics, so all responses will be sent to the company mail box in that case.

    Hi,

Just to avoid any confusion, please refer to the scenario explained below:

Scenario: The management team wants to change user's email display name to a general “Company Name” name instead of individual’s name while they send email from there email address. Also, when customer replies to the email, this email should be sent out to that particular user's email inbox.

It is like display names and different email addresses but when email is send the display name in email should be as "Company Name".

Please let me know if this helps'to understand scenario better.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi,

Probably it's not related about MS CRM.

By my experiences you can do it with SMPT (for ex. change Sender Name) but customer-side replied email will return to inbox (where sent).

My suggestion, you should use Queue for sent and receive emails and incoming emails will be in your queue inbox, so your users select them manually.

    Hi Emre,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

We have to do this in MS CRM. Will apply these suggestions and let you know. In case if you get some other idea please share.

Can we replace the username using code and keep the email address same? Is this possible and supported?

    Hi,

Actually I couldn't understand "Can we replace the username using code and keep the email address same? Is this possible and supported?"

If you want change your sender name (for ex. salesteam01@company.com will show AWESOME COMPANY) it's related about your mail settings.
