Purchase Requisition Edit Project ID

Once a purchase requisition has been created, we cannot seem to edit the Project ID on the PR header.  Is this standard functionality or is there a way to enable editing of the field?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

I know this is how purchase orders work but are you saying purchase requisitions work the same?

    Hi Yepitsme

Sorry, I just realized that I may have mistaken a purchase requisition for a purchase order.

You can modify only purchase requisitions that you created.

    1. Click Procurement on the top link bar, and then click Purchase requisitions > Purchase requisitions prepared by me on the Quick Launch.

    2. Select the purchase requisition that you want to modify, and then on the Action Pane, on the Purchase requisition tab, click Edit.

If you still can't edit the project ID through this step, I'm afraid this is standard behavior.

Hi, It is set as non-editable table field in standard. So far, I can't see the code where system is allowing edit on this field in purchase requisitions.

Once the PR is created, the Project ID is not allowed to modify, and the Project ID field is greyed out. If you want to modify it, you need to recreate the PR. It is shown as the same way in the test environment, and the following screenshot is provided for you.

A work around: If you dont add the Project ID on the PR header, you can modify the Project ID on the PR Lines.  Each line can have a different Project ID.
