Is it possible to set "receive" by default or disable options ?

We have buyers who have a "Team" license and who are responsible for completing recetion in a purchase order.
When the user clicks on "post", the only logical choice, given their license and their role, is "Receive".
Without customization, Is it possible to
  • Disable options "Invoice" and "Receive and invoice"  ?
  • or, set default to "receive" ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

if you want to disable other options and ensure that only the "receive" option is available, you might need to customize the system or use specific permissions to restrict access to other posting options. This can be done through user permissions and roles within Business Central.

You can disable it in User Setup by setting "Purch. Invoice Posting Policy" to "Prohibited".

If you try to post Purchase Order then it will ask the confirmation to post Receipt only.

Agree with Mohana,  You can disable invoice posting by setting "Purch. Invoice Posting Policy" to "Prohibited". This will disable "Invoice" and "Receive and Invoice", leaving only the "Receive" option when posting a purchase order.
