How to copy Gen. Journal lines from one batch to another batch ?

HI,

Is there a way to copy Gen. Journal lines from one batch to another batch in Business Central ?

    Save as a standard journal and then in your other batch get the standard journal. Both are page actions under Actions and then Functions

    copying and pasting is doable but it only grabs so many lines unless you scroll to the bottom of the journal with your select all - not fun if it’s a giant batch.

    A configuration package is the other option. 1st one is quickest

    Standard Journal Functionality is available only for General Journals ? is there such a function for "Cash Receipt Journals " as well ?

    Use edit in excel. Just change the batch name after copy/paste

    Hi, I think it is faster to copy directly from Batch A to Excel, and then from Excel to Batch B.

    Ctrl + C -> Ctrl + V

    If you want to MOVE data from batchA to batchB, open batchA excel, delete filter, refresh data, update batch name A to B.
