MR 2012 configure error message.

When try to configure MR 2012 CU8, with no installation before for MR.

faced with following error massage

so i was trying to delete old MR database and begin a new configure, but the same msg appears

FYI

"mr" user : has administrator rights in domain and also sysadmin in SQL Server

the password it is the same for all users

followed configure entry

    Hi ,

    Please login to the server with the username MR and then configure this setups and in the Database configuration please mention the correct database server name and credentials and in the above screenshot i found in the database configuration you didt mention domain name infront of ur username MR eg: FR\mr or use can select the check box windows authentication and try it will work for sure.

    unfortunately, the same massage appear, even if login with mr.

    about mention database server i think it is right, because if wrong MR2012 can not select Dynamics DB from dynamics GP connection information Section - last section.

    Hi Mounir,

    As Rudra mentioned, please check the Database Configuartion & Service Account credentials are correct.

    Can you try with the same "sa" username and password for Database configuration too.

    In Database Configuration section, mark the check box "Use Windows authentication" and try again it will resolve your problem.

    the domain administrators can access sql windows authentication with no error MSG, so i used administrator as account to configure MR, administrator has sysadmin rights in sql server

    when get the error log file found

    .Net SqlClient Data Provider: Msg 15466, Level 16, State 2, Line 1 An error occurred during decryption.

    Is there any suggestions?

    Previous database configuration has been solved and now this master key encryption error coming right?

    Please try the below link to regenerate the master key:-

    Also try to give the eight letters password or  bypass the encrypt password field if no error popsup.
