ADO Recordset on Modified Forms

I am currently working with a Customer on upgrading from GP2013R2 to GP2016R2.  They have just a couple of forms that are using ADO Recordsets in VBA to lookup some configuration information from tables to construct a URL.

When importing these forms into the GP2016R2 test environment, it does not like the use of ADO recordsets.  It appears as though that is part of a long since deprecated feature regarding RetrieveGlobals.dll

Are these forms no longer going to work in GP2016?

I believe you've already opened a support case on this, but just to put the information out in the forums...….

Information about the new connection objects in VBA that replace the RetrieveGlobals.dll and RetrieveGlobals9.dll files in Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0

    support.microsoft.com/.../information-about-the-new-connection-objects-in-vba-that-replace-the-r

This article goes over the new connection object, UserInfoGet, that replaces RetrieveGlobals.dll and RetrieveGlobals9.dll.

    Thanks
