Inconsistencies in Quantity showing on screens and reports

Hi

I have a scenario that exist that seems strange as I never saw this before.  I recognized that there are two inventory items that are lot items  but the quantities that are showing in the Inventory Trial Balance report and the Lot Serial report are different.  One of the items, I noticed that the difference in the quantity was showing in another bin location when I go into the inventory status inquiry screen and I was able to run an integrity check and it fix the quantity.

However, the other item, the difference is showing linked to a lot but it is not located in another bin location therefore doing an integrity check did not correct the quantities for this item.

Has anyone noticed this scenario before or anyone has any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Any help will be appreciated.

    In order to get to the bottom of this we will need to have a case created so we can dig a little deeper into you issue.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    I checked and there are no unreleased records in the lotSert table for the inventory item.

    There are no fatal errors recorded.  However, when I reviewed the log file created it indicates that:

    Variances found in master tables for InvtId: 'WRJ010' SiteId: 'BPFINISH'

    Quantity - Item2Hist:1356.0000, ItemSite:1356.0000, ItemCost:N/A, Location:1356.0000, LotSerMst:1578.0000Variances found in recalculated values

    Quantity - Item2Hist:1356.0000 (1356.0000), ItemSite:1356.0000 (1356.0000), ItemCost:N/A, Location:1356.0000 (1356.0000), LotSerMst:1578.0000 (1578.0000)

    Cost - ItemHist:11837.06 (11837.06), ItemSite:11837.06 (11837.06), ItemCost:N/A

    Any further ideas?

    Are you receiving any error messages when running the Inventory Integrity Check for this item? If there are fatal errors recorded, the Integrity Check will not rebuild the item.
