How do I access pre and post image values from Custom Workflow?

I am not able to register pre image on post image for Custom Workflow assembly using plugin registration tool

    PreEntity and PostEntity Images are unsupported in Custom Workflow Activities, but you can access the internal collections by following the method in this article.

    because custom workflow activities have not pre or post images

    you can use input and output parameters inside your custom workflow activity
