Adding a photo to a Contact record!

Posted on by 5

Hi there,

As a relatively new SuperUser of Dynamics365, I'd like to find out more about adding photographs to a Contact record.

Working for a Charity, I'm hoping to add a volunteer's photograph to their Contact record which will assist with identification.

I know how to change the tiny default circular image next to the 'Contact' name:

... but I'd like help to add a new field within any tab (or entity) to allow a larger photo to be displayed for identification purposes.

Can anyone offer any basic guidance so I can test this within the UAT (Sandbox) area before then adding it to our Live system?

Many thanks!

Mark

Enhancing my contact records has never been easier since I discovered Genswap! The seamless integration of Genswap with https://skylum.com/luminar/genswap has revolutionized the way I manage and personalize my contacts. Adding a photo to a contact record has become a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly interface and advanced features provided by Genswap.

Adding photos to a contact record is a great idea. In general, images have brought us a lot of benefits, and new technologies are helping to improve their use. For example, https://depositphotos.com/video-background-remover.html helps us to improve the video we need. It's really handy for editing video backgrounds quickly and efficiently.

    Hi,

You can create a custom image field. Please refer to the blog below, it explains all the steps:

    https://gestisoft.com/en-ca/dynamics-365-image-field/

You can find more details about Image and File data types on this blog:

    Good Luck !
