Analyze API calls to CDS

(0) ShareShare

Hello,

I need a way to see how many API calls is made against a CDS.

The statistics found at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/analytics/ is far to high level.

Is there any information in the CDS reachable with PowerBI or another API to use against the analytics?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

How granular do you want and what kind of information are you looking for? (e.g. number of API calls from User ABC)

Is that something that you cannot find in the "Most used API" excel report or changing filters in that Common Data Service analytics page? Other than what is available on that page, I don't think there is any other API endpoint that you can query that data.

    Thank you for your answer.

No the downloadable reports isn't enough

Would at least like to know what entities and if its Read or Update.

    Hi,

As of now, I'm afraid this is the only report you have to analyse the CDS API. You can however manually log every request you make to the API and trace the statistics that you want. But this requires some development effort.
