Hello,

I am coming across this error a lot

To qualify a lead or to deactivate a record in account, I always get this error below.

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><body><parsererror style='display: block; white-space: pre; border: 2px solid #c77; padding: 0 1em 0 1em; margin: 1em; background-color: #fdd; color: black'><h3>This page contains the following errors:</h3><div style='font-family:monospace;font-size:12px'>error on line 1 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
</div><h3>Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.</h3></parsererror></body></html>

I have tried changing browsers and tried deleting cookies and I am still coming across this error. Any leads. Please help.

Thank you!

    Hi RARO91,

    please try:

    1) delete full cache browser

    2) launch the following command in javascript console: localStorage.clear();

    Please let me know.

Did you try Incognito/InPrivate browsing ?

Are there any additional details you can get from F12 Developer Option from Browser?

What is the version of CRM?

    Try this:

Go to Settings -> Administration -> System Settings

    In General tab

Use legacy form rendering -> yes(or vice versa)

Check if your "yourcrmaddress/.../Organization.svc; works. Based on error message from Developer Tools, you have 404 for "yourcrmaddress/.../web; which is used when you do some operations in CRM. Maybe your configured address is different from address that you are using to open CRM and you simply get Cross-site-scripting problem. Make sure you are not connecting to your server for example using IP address and calls to your OrganizationService are done using fully qualified domain name.

Thanks Pawel Gradecki  for the answer.

Just add more details for others. In my case, I can't delete record in CRM, and get error as  "yourcrmaddress/.../web" 404 Not Found;  My org configured as HTTPS with two web node for NLB.  HTTP + (VIP / IP / fully qualified domain name) not work, but HTTPS + fully qualified domain name works well.

I had the same problem today - the problem was duplicate binding on IIS on port 80 - maybe this will help somebody with the same issue.
