Private methods and variables can be used only in classes where they are declared. You can't use them in extension classes.
What do you want to achieve? Why do you need to create a copy of standard display method (displayQuickFormulaWithLocalSeparators)?

You can access private\protected class methods and members by using reflection:
d365technext.blogspot.com/.../private-protected-and-public-attribute.html
But this is not recommended,private methods could be changed at any time in future, and the poor performance.
You can try to change your design if possible.
