    Hi Zhang Liang,

I assume you want to see when an item has multiple BOM Versions, which ones are not active?

I tried by adding the BOM Versions table to the report Select, but it didn't work.

You can set it to Show 'Versions' and use Display principle 'All'. This will show you all BOM Versions, but it's quite easy to see which are not Active, since this is a column on the report.

To make it easier, I thought to export it to Excel, but that wasn't formatted nicely for sorting or filtering. You can, however, save the report in CSV format and import it into Excel.  When I did this, column 'BA' shows whether BOM Version is Active or not.

It might just be easier to browse to the BOMVersion table in the AOT, and filter on Active = No!

Whatever way you go, remember you can have a BOM Version assigned to one item and be inactive, and assigned to another item and be active. So depending on your data, a BOM that is not active on one item might be active on another.

you may consider making simple view by joining BomVerison and Bom table and make filter on Active field of BomVerison.

you can later access this view from excel also and can make good report there.

    Thanks for your help.

Actually, I have an item which links three BOM version. That means this item has three BOMs, but we only activate one BOM as you know. I want we can export inactive BOMs via the reports function. But i can't, so i still export the specific BOM after i activate this BOM.

According to your reply, i get a new idear to edit the exported decoment. As you know, the exported decoment is not very humanized from AX report.

    Thanks again.
