Removing Dark "Streaks" from the A/P Check Layout (10412)

Hi:

The "Date" and "Check Amount" fields shown below from the "Check Stub Stub" layout (Report ID 10412) have black streaks throughout that I want removed.

I tried to do so, by changing the font selection from "IDAutomation" to "Arial".

Now, these two fields have brackets around them though the streaks are gone.

How do I remove these brackets and simply have normal looking fields?
