Trouble installing LCS Diagnostic Tool -- LCSDiagnosticService will not start

I am trying to install the new LCS Diagnostic tool that includes the new AOS crash diagnostic part on a client's TEST environment.  It is a 2 server environment (SQL server and an AOS server).  I am installing it on the AOS server.  I have followed the instructions to grant my user (which I am using as the service user) all of the permissions it is supposed to have, as per the TechNet article.  When run the setup.exe, I enter my user and password, it goes through the paces and says starting the Diag service.  Then it says it fails to start -- "Service "Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services Diagnostic Service' (LCSDiagFXService.exe) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services".  When cancel out of the setup operation, I open Services, I see the Microsoft Dynamics  Lifecycle Services Diagnostic Service and it is STARTED.  When I try to re-install, it shows that it stops the service and then attempts to start it again but it gives me the same message.  I double checked and my user has Log on as a service right.

In the Event Viewer I get 3 errors.  The first one is from the LCSDiagnosticService:

Service cannot be started. System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.LifecycleManager.Diagnostic.Common.Entities.ConfigurationManagmentSettings' from assembly 'Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.LifecycleManager.Diagnostic.Common, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.

The second and third are the same and are from the MSIInstaller:

Product: Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services System Diagnostic Service -- Error 1920. Service 'Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services Diagnostic Service' (LCSDiagFXService.exe) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

Then the next event is from the LCSDiagnosticsService saying that the service Started!!

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what's wrong, but let's try a few things. If you restart the service manually, do you also get TypeLoadException?

Once I cancel out of the setup it will start just fine.  If I try to start it with the setup still open, it starts / stops then gives me that message that says some services stop / start on their own.

Yes, you already said that it starts anyway. But it doesn't answer my question - do you get TypeLoadException when starting the service manually?

Sorry for the delay..  When I stop and start the service manually, I get no errors.  There are two informational entries in the Event Viewer telling me that it stopped and started successfully.  Thank you for your help.  We got it going with MS's help (had another ticket open and they were kind enough to walk my employee through re-installing).  Not sure what they did different but apparently it is installed now.  Thank you!
