How to set up MRP do not count quarantine stock as available

Hello all,

We have process in place for customer returns, but we file as soon stock comes back to us and are placed in quarantine area.

I am trying to find the way for MRP should be set up to make sure system don't count quarantine stock as available stock.

At the moment after MRP runs overnight, if there is new demand for 1 off and we do have this 1 off in quarantine area, it won't create purchase requisition or planned works orders to get another one in stock. it counts as stock already here.

Any ideas what need to be changed on MRP settings?

    Hi Sandra,

    System will calculate the stock in quarantine warehouse, for it will be back to the regular warehouse. If master planning takes the site and warehouse inventory dimensions into account, you can put the stock in another warehouse(type is default), .

    In addition, MRP does not generate purchase requisitions, but instead planned purchase orders.
