Error when trying to pay a vendor and apply entries

Hi,

Help please

When trying to make pay vendor and apply entries we receive this error but i cant see any difference in figures so should be no rounding needed

This is on a € vendor but the lcy is £.

Finance team had previously made a vendor payment on this vendor a couple of months ago as well but have never been able to apply any of them payments either,

Hi,

The error screen shot is from when I try preview posting, we added a generic account for al the rounding groups and its was 0.01 so we have manage to apply it.

Just couldn't see why it didn't show us any rounding on the first screen but like you said could be the LCY.

Hi,

Could this be related to the LCY amounts being out by pennies? Is the LCY amount for the payment the total of the LCY amount of the two entries you are going to apply? I would say that if there is a slight difference then this will go to rounding. Also, do you have the option to preview the posting from the journal, see below?

If you were able to select this (you may need to enter the debit rounding account to allow this to run) then this could at least let you know what values it will post.
