Dear All,

I got this error when i try to complete the work in advance warehouse management process, i checked the location directives and work template it seems ok  because in 'work creation history log, no issue raised as below.

so when i try to complete the work, following error occurred. what is the reason behind this.

    Dear Pals,

    This happens when mobile device user location is deleted from the location master.

    In D365 as soon as you create your warehouse worker User ID and password system automatically creates a location for that user in the location master with location profile User (User profile which is selected in warehouse management parameters)

    Now if someone will delete your user location the same user which now you are using to process the work you will get the above error. (As there is no user location to support the movement of stock from warehouse location to user location)

    Fix

    1. Manually create your user location by selecting user profile. (Location name should be same as User ID of mobile device login)

    2. Create a new user login and try again.

    I tried the same and it worked. :)

    Hi Laurens van der Tang ,

    Whenever I process a wave from a newly created warehouse, I encounter the same error message.

    New warehouse locations all have location profile IDs, and I haven't found any differences between newly created warehouses and other warehouses


    Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

    The area path is:

    Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse > Location profiles

    Hi Afazal,

    Is the parameter 'Use license plate tracking' set to 'Yes' on the location profile of the locaiton RECV?

    Hi Afazal,

    could you please check the settings of your default receiving location RECV. This location must be LP controlled.

    as per you instruction, there was a user profile, what missed, i dont have a location ID with user ID, when i created issue resolved.
