First thanks for the reply Victoria & Bill, Yes Bill I agree with you and even Microsoft also not provide the support of GP 8.0 but client is using GP 8.0 since 2003 to till date.

Now client wants to install "Client installation" with windows 7.

    Thanks

Good morning Govind - my question is why - why would you want to install GP8.0 ? It is not supported and that would be my biggest fear for the client.

Second question - can you even get keys for the software in the clients name from Microsoft?

    Just wondering.

    Hi Govind,

GP 8.0 is not officially supported on Windows 7. That said, GP 8.0 is long past being supported, anyway, so there is no harm and trying it to see if it works. A few tips that may help:

    1. Install as the local built-in administrator on the computer (not as a domain administrator and not as a user in the local administrators group).
    2. Install outside of Program Files.
