I Just upgraded from RMS 1.2 to 2.05. In Operations manager if I select a item the properties button is greyed out. From POS I can click properties but not from Operations manager

Yes it was a security (permission level) setting. Thanks for the help.

Version 2.0.1000

The database was upgraded from 1.2 to 2.0.5 via the Store Operations Administrator. This is installed only on one PC. No Clients.

I just checked the old version 1.2 and the properties are greyed out in that also. I created a new cashier with full rights. As stated above I can access properties via the Store Operations POS so it is not a rights issue?

Yes check to make sure all machines are running the version of RMS and make sure you upgraded your database if needed after the upgrade.

Hi Jay,

make sure all PC running RMS are on the same RMS version including server if you have any

what is the full version of RMS? (V2.0.105)

did you had any security (permission level) setup before in RMS 1.2?

make sure you take backup of RMS and should try updating with latest update, avoid Windows XP and non professional windows OS version
